Read aloud lesson plan reflection examples11/23/2023 Had they gotten to know me better, they would have been more comfortable with me and more confident reading for me to hear.Īnother problem I encountered was that many of the children had difficulty reading the book distributed to them. ![]() Afterwards, I realized that maybe I didn’t build up as good of a rapport as I originally thought I had with the students. I noticed that a few of the students froze up and did not read as confidently as they read in my other dealings with them. As the children read, I went around to each child to listen to them read. I did not give it to them initially because I did not want them to get distracted by the books, and not pay attention to the review. So I tried to prepare their minds to read by having them practice this sound. Next, I identified the /a/ sound as being most prominent in the story.
